A practice like a mala
My dear teacher, Dona Holleman, used to say: “At the beginning of our yoga journey, we go shopping. We go to the market, we look around, we try different classes and styles. Until one day, something speaks to us, and we know. That’s when we stay and explore deeply.” Here, we honor that stage of exploration. We believe it’s sacred. We offer you a space where you can try different ways of practicing, different rhythms, methods, and languages of yoga, so that you can find the one that truly resonates with your body, your breath, your path. Because there is a kind of yoga for every person. And when you find yours, it’s not about doing more. It’s about going deeper.
This is not yoga as performance. Not choreography, nor repetition for repetition’s sake. This is a practice like a mala, a thread of breath and movement, held together by intention, presence, and return. Each posture is a bead. Each transition, a soft exhale.
We don’t rush. We listen. We move in circles, not in lines, gently repeating, remembering, and softening. We begin again and again, not to achieve more, but to feel more. The practice is breath-led, steady and clear. The postures may look familiar, but we approach them with reverence, curiosity and care. This is a space to grow strong without hardening, to rest without collapse, to stay close to what matters. Here, yoga is not something to be performed. It is something to be lived, felt and returned to
like a mantra, like a quiet promise to yourself. Explore the many yoga styles we offer; each one is a doorway to your unique journey. Rooted in tradition, shaped by the rhythm of modern life, and guided by presence, curiosity, and inner stillness.
